That is not “over the top” it’s “hyperbole” and that makes it art.

It warms my heart that there are still Queers and artists who do not rush to be squeekier clean than any sanctimonious model citizen. The current masquerade our brotheresses and sisterers are performing is not good for us.

Loneliness, brokenness, addiction, and imperfection don’t get easier to manage or to bear if we attempt to gloss them over, and point fingers and spray venom at others. I liked the broken, more honest George Michael a thousand times better than the tortured creature trying to keep up appearances in the 80’s. And i still like “nighttime parks” and consider them a grand cultural achievement of “our” little folk.

Sleep softly Georgios Panagiotou, you were one of us. May George Michael protect us from hypocrites and cowards.

Where is the mural!?
