Neighborhood Grassroots say City Treatment of Refugees is Scandalous!
EU politicians agreed this weekend to “discourage” refugees coming to the EU, whilst German politics are representing the official handling of the concerns of newly (and not so newly) arrived refugees, and migrants as calm, decent, and well organized.
The reality is quite another.
Grass roots neighborhood refugee & migrant assistance organization “Moabit Hilft” (English: Moabit [a Berlin neighborhood] Is Helping) presents an open letter to the Berlin city senate with grievances and criticisms.
None of this had to happen.
Contact Moabit Hilft or another organization of your choice, if you want to help. (Please, avoid the larger official channels, as they are deeply enmeshed in the current official take on the so-called “Refugee Crisis”, and people actually working with refugees claim large amounts of money and energy are being expended that are not going toward actually addressing human needs or bettering the situation of refugees.)
