Much as i am critical of recent #cooption of the #LGBTI movement(s) by those who have little other use for the issue but to use it a litmus test of political and social ‘liberality’ and so-called #progressive -ness, and/or those who exploit the question of (in-)tolerance on the matter as a shibboleth to separate what they see as #Western and #enlightened from that which is deemed ‘backward’, or just plain ‘the enemy’, i am none the less pleased, and pleasantly surprised to see Dr. Hirschfeld’s name honored in this way.
