the gayburger

I’ve waited my whole life for this (sob).

When someone tweeted the gayburger i thought it was some kind of John Waters-esque joke. Now we really are just as horrible as everyone else. This for me clearly marks the end of an era.

The Gayburger

“As a brand, we welcome everyone,” says Fernando Machado, a senior vice president of global branding, who led the campaign, which included on-the-spot filming of customers’ reactions outside the location at Market and 8th Streets, San Francisco, USA.

“And not ‘as a brand’ … ? – What then?” is the question that gnaws at the back of my skull. But i have always been a stickler when it comes to reading between the lines.
