One, two, three. One, two, three.
One of my favorite places in Berlin, the Weshafen was built in the Twenties of the past century. Located in the immigrant, and proletarian neighborhood of Moabit, it is the city’s largest inland port. It breaths an air of tenacity and melancholy, having been witness to imperial delusions, rifts and faults in history, and day to day struggles. A wonderful wide open space to walk, marvel, take pictures, and think about hardship, and simple pleasures.
