Berlin skyline by night from the Drachenberg

Berlin skyline by from the Drachenberg. Out with my favorite cuddle, on an unseasonably warm February night. Climbed the 99 m Drachenberg in Berlin, Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf, a hill that came into being when rubble of the bombing of Berlin was dumped here in the years ensuing 1945. A wonderful vantage point for a view the Berlin skyline. Here with the Messe Zentrum ICC and Funkturm in the foreground, Breitscheid Platz, Potsdamer Platz with Sony-Center and DB tower in the middle ground, and the TV tower near Alexander Platz in the background. During the day a great place to fly kites, hence the name Drachenberg. “Drachen {m}” meaning dragon, but also kite, and “Berg {m}” meaning mountain or hill.
